No.6 Collaboration Project Album Review

Image
I had been waiting to write the album review since its first single release; “I Don’t Care” collaborated with Justin Bieber since in May.   Before I write the album review, I would like to say that Ed Sheeran is the best musician of our generation and I am a huge big fan of his. I became his big fan since the day I heard his song “A Team” on MTV on a day of 2011. I listen to every single of his song and fall in love with the song that the story behind the song relate to mine. I am so glad that we have such kind of person like Ed Sheeran on earth who can create the music that everyone can relate to. There are 15 songs in the album and this album is highly anticipated album of this year for me and everyone else. Second album would be Adele’s. I can’t believe that he can sing several music genres with A-list musicians in this collaboration album. He admitted that he wished to create the collaboration album with the artists who he respected in the industry and who he was...

Our Souls At Night

Image
It’s been more than a week that I have been obsessed with Robert Redford. I watched Indecent Proposal last week in which he portrayed as the billionaire who fell for a young married woman and asked to spend one night with her on one million dollars. That movie is really amazing and I love his character and Demi Moore’s character in it. It is a beautiful love triangle where Robert Redford’s character interrupted the married couple’s life. I feel sorry cos I wanted his character to end up with the girl that he loved. I sided with him in that movie and I don’t feel any guilty. Since then, I was looking for his movies and watched those when I had time. It’s needless to say that he is an amazing actor with wonderful career. He is 85 years old now and already retired from the movie industry. He won several awards as actor and director too. I admired his works along the journey.    The latest movie that I watched is “Our Souls At Night” on Netflix which is about tw...

Letter to 17 years old Khwin

Image
Dear 17 years old Khwin, I wrote this letter to you after 13 years and decided to choose 17 years old Khwin because this is the age you started dreaming about what kind of person you wanted to be and what kind of life you wanted to live. You were nothing at that time but full with several dreams and hopes. You couldn't figure out what to do but you kept dreaming. You were studying but you were not interested in the subjects. Sometimes you wondered why you spent your time in the class room. But when you started learning marketing subject in your class, you found that you liked that one and started thinking to work as marketer after you graduated. You always had questions for everything and you always tried to find the answers for everything too. You always believed that every question has an answer. So it doesn't matter how stupid the question that you asked yourself and others, you always expected the answers. I want you to know that it's good to seek an answer but some...

How Having Mentor Is Really Important In Your Career

Image
How Having Mentor Is Really Important In Your Career This one is what I wanted to write since two years ago when I started to activate my forbidden blog alive. You will find the facts of how important to have a mentor with some examples of mine and others in this article. I realized it was necessary to have mentor only after four years of working life in corporate world. I started my professional career in the late of 2012 and I was applying what I have learned in business school by not devoting my time to new learning.  I devoted all of my time in my work, long working hours at office and got stuck there. Slowly and steadily, I was not learning the new things. I was behaving office life was my life. Office colleagues were my second family. I loved my job more than anything else in the world. But in the late of 2015, I realized that I missed some points in my career life. The working environment were changing, the new era of digital marketing which was not taught in business...

Things that I learned in 2018 is about value of time and death

Image
When I woke up this morning, I looked at my phone and realized it was 29 th December. I smiled widely because I recognized 2018 will be ending within three days. Then I asked myself if I learned a lot within this year or not.   I don’t want to say I could bring out the best from 2018 because it’s the year mixed with the best and worst thing together. I had mental breakdown for four times and that was the new record in my adulthood life. I just had one or two times at most in previous years. But suffering four times is quite much and I even thought I couldn’t get through very well and believed that I would be depressing for very long time. Yeah of cos, this year makes me realize the truth of two things. Two things that I have realized is about value of time and death. Knowing we all will leave from this world without being alive makes me understand the true value of time and I totally accept that time is very limited. We all know that time is t...

Losing Myself

Everyone in this world always needs to pass through something that they thought they couldn’t get through. Being adulthood and growing up is one of the difficult things to pass through. The journey that I had during the past two years is the most incredible moment full with ups and downs, emotionally unstable, depression and anxiety. The best thing that come out from those moments is I found myself after completely losing myself and I realized who I have become and who I want to be in the future. I don’t know about how other people get through the transaction between who they were and who they are about to be. Well, this is my story. This would be series of events that I had in the past two years. But the starting chapter is about losing myself. Since I can write it down every single thing that I have felt, every single mistake that I have learned, every emotional breakdown that I have encountered, I can ensure you that I am getting back on the right track now. Th...
